Thomas Jefferson

Thomas Jefferson was an American statesman and
Founding Father who served as the third president
ofthe United States from 1801 to 1809.

During the American Revolution, Jefferson adopted
the Declaration of Independence. His health began to
deteriorate in 1925 due to pneumonia. He died on
July 4 at the age 83, the same day as the 50th
anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
