Franklin D. Roosevelt

Roosevelt was an American lawyer and Democrat
politician who served as the 32nd president of the
United States from 1933 until his death 1945. His third
and fourth terms were dominated by Word War II,
which ended shortly after he died in office.

important and influential figures of the 20th century in
the history of the United States. Roosevelt has also
appeared on several U.S.postage stamps, and
commemorated on the American dime.
