Harry S. Truman

Harry Truman was the 33rd president of the United
States, serving from 1945 to 1953, succeeding upon
the death of Franklin D. Roosevelt. He implemented
the Marshall Plan and established the Truman Doctrine.

Truman died on December 26, 1953, at the age
of 88 of pneumonia and multiple organ failure.
