HEAD OF STATES STAMPS

A collection of postal covers on "Head of States" by Johnny Lowis, a Singaporean philatelist. I try my best to include all the worldwide countries. As I started this collection quite late, somewhere in 2000, so some of the earlier leader were missed out such as Saddam Hussein, Muamar Gadaffi, Shah Pahlevi, etc..... He is known as the Druk Gyalpo or "Dragon King"
of the Kingdom of Bhutan. After his father

Jigme SingyeWangchuck abdicated the throne in his

favour, he became King on 9 December 2006. A public

coronation ceremony was held on 6 November 2008,

an auspicious year that marked 100 years of

monarchy in Bhutan.
