Sheik Mujibur Rahman
(1920 - 1975)

Mujibur Rahman is a Founding Father of Bangladesh who 
served as the first President and later as the Prime Minister 
of Bangladesh from 1971 until his assassination in 1975. 
.
Mujibur has been depicted on Bangladesh currency.
15 August has since been commemorated as "National
Mpurning Day".  The country keeps it flags lowered to
half-mast in this day as a sign of mourning.
