Megawati Sukarnoputri, is an Indonesian politician
who served as 5th President of Indonesia from
2001 to 2004.
She was previously the country's vice president
from 1999 to 2001. She was Indonesia's first
female president.
Megawati is the leader of the Indonesian Democratic
Party (PDI-P). She is the daughter of Indonesia's
first president, Sukarno. She is often referred
to as simply "Bu Mega".
