Faure Gnassingbé

Faure Gnassingbé is a Togolese politician who has
been the 6th President of Togo since 2005. Following
his father President Eyadéma's death in 2005,
Gnassingbé was immediately installed as President
with support from the army, but subsequently
resigned on 25 February.
He won a controversial president election in 2005,
and was re-elected for a second term in 2010,
and a third term in 2015.
